Simon the Killer Teddy-Bear

Home Page

Greetings Earthlings! Welcome to SQUARE BOY COMICS' free online comic SIMON THE KILLER TEDDY-BEAR! Written and illustrated by David Scagnetti. This is not a kids comic and it is not appropriate for children even though it is about a teddy-bear. Simon's story has a delicate balance of comedy and tragedy...as real life often can have. It's a story about a soldier who's soul is trapped inside a teddy-bear and he's not exactly happy about it! An undefined top secret Canadian government agency has "hired" Simon as their secret weapon...and he's very efficient at his job!

"This comic is not drawn digitally...although I do use the computer to colour the covers. It's done pretty old school with my beloved black ink and brushes on full size comic boards. It's kind of an addiction of mine, passionately pencilling with careless abandon and covering it with that thick dark black ink that spills out of the brush like beautiful ribbons that twist and turn, expand and contract as they dance around detailing and containing the emotions on my page. I loved drawing and writing this comic and I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it. So without further ado, dear fellow Earthling, I give you the tragic tale of Simon the Killer Teddy-Bear and as Simon himself would say: We all have our bears to cross!"  - David Scagnetti

Pages will be added as they are finished, so come back and visit often! The story will be broken down into several issues so it's easy to keep track of where you are in the ongoing story line. Click on the Simon T.K.T.B. #1 link at the top of this page to start from the beginning! Issue three is currently in production and the latest page will be posted here on the home page every so often. Just scroll down to the bottom for my latest page!
